Over three days Branscombe Festival presents performances from leading classical and jazz musicians, including stars of the international opera stage Ailish Tynan and Luis Gomes, dance band The Leo Green Experience, vocal ensemble I Fagiolini, cellist Philip Higham and the UK’s only fully professional ragtime band, Albert Ball’s Flying Aces with guest vocalist Patricia Hammond, culminating in a free concert by the Band of the Royal Marines on Branscombe beach.

Opening the Festival in the beautiful setting of St Winifred's Church, renowned vocal ensemble I Fagiolini bring you a delightful evening of music for five singers, with a programme of works by Cornyshe, Monteverdi, Britten and more!

Philip Higham is rapidly emerging as one of the most prominent young cellists from the UK. Returning to the Festival following his appearance in 2013, Higham performs two Bach cello suites in the beautiful and atmospheric St Winifred's Church.

Albert Ball's Flying Aces, the UK's only fully-professional ragtime band, support leading lady of the vintage music scene Patricia Hammond in an afternoon concert of First World War songs, ragtime tunes and cream tea in Branscombe village hall.
