Join Monty Halls and Reuben the Dog for an evening packed with fun tales of their adventures, travels and experiences. Monty will also talk about his two new TV series, to be aired in 2012.
The first is a landmark production for BBC 2 on the Great Barrier Reef. The second follows his trials and tribulations for six months working as a fisherman off the Cornish coast. This evening will offer an exhilarating tour through many of Monty’s memories on the road with his best friend Reuben.

He has worked for Nelson Mandela as part of the peace process in South Africa and was awarded the Bish Medal for services to exploration.
Monty’s latest series of Great Escape, "Monty Halls' Great Irish Escape" has recently aired on BBC2 and there are more chances to see him on TV next year with two new series coming out
His television career began when he won Channel Four’s Superhuman competition in 2004. Since then he has presented series and documentaries for the Discovery Channel, The National Geographic Channel, BBC1 and BBC2, Channel 4, and the History Channel.
Other projects have been on the west coast of Scotland, where he lived in a tiny bothy on a beach for six months, following in the footsteps of his hero Gavin Maxwell. This series aired on BBC2 in 2009 as "Monty Halls Great Escape", hitting viewing figures of over 3 million. He returned in early 2010 from a further six months as a nature ranger in the Outer Hebrides, an experience recorded for the second series on BBC2 called "Monty Halls Great Hebridean Escape" which was aired in May of 2010.
