The best businesses within Exeter & Essential Devon are celebrating after winning a bounty of silver awards at this year's South West Tourism Excellence Awards. The awards celebrate the 'best in the South West' and aim to promote and reward the leading businesses and individuals in the tourism industry.
To win, entrants needed to demonstrate outstanding levels of customer service, plus exemplary facilities, informative and inspirational websites, along with a commitment to sustainability and being accessible to all.
Derek Phillips, chairman of the Exeter & Essential Devon Tourism Partnership comments: "We are delighted that South West Tourism has recognised and awarded seven high quality tourism businesses we have in this beautiful part of Devon. This is a testament to all the hard work and investment they have put in their business and staff over the last few years. The Exeter & Essential Devon area has always had a tourism sector to be really proud of. These awards confirm it yet again."
