Castle Quarter

Cathedral Quarter

West Quarter
You can experience Elizabethan life in St Nicholas Priory, now furnished as a Tudor home. Visit the famous House that Moved, the 11th century Tucker's Hall or the refectory wing of an 11th century Benedictine monastery, known as 21 The Mint. There's the highly acclaimed contemporary art gallery, Spacex in Preston Street and the Thursday weekly Farmers Market.
High Street
There's free entry to 12th century Guildhall, one of the oldest working municipal buildings in England. You can walk from High Street through the narrowest street in Europe - Parliament Street through to Guildhall Shopping Centre.
Quayside
The history and development of the Quayside is brought to life in a free audio visual display at Quay House Visitor Centre. Nearby is Devon Wildlife Trust's interpretation centre in the grade II listed building Cricklepit Mill. For contemporary art visit Eyestorm Britart Gallery or Art Terracina or explore Quayside Crafts. Saddles & paddles offers bike & canoe hire - a wonderful alternative way to explore the area.
